Angela Bofill performed with Ricardo Morrero & the Group and Dance Theater of Harlem chorus prior to her 1978 debut album, Angie.
Marrero mixed a unique blend of salsa, jazz, soul, and brazilian which really set him apart from some of his contemporaries. There's a lot of spiritual tracks with a real new "Nu Yorica" sound, including "Land of the Third Eye", "Music in the Sun", "Sin Ti", and a great cover of "Feel Like Making Love". Great LP, Highly Recommended. NM- 1977 Original Pressing, name on front.
